Evaluation 4 - How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Within my media production there was different technology which I had used. From the obvious things like a video camera, tri pod, mouse, key board and normal camera. - To Adobe Premiere Pro, paint, word, photo shop and fireworks. Having such a range of technology allowed me to experiment with didn’t types of software. So I was able to see what looked better and what didn’t.
If we didn’t have the main editing software Adobe Premiere we would of properly had to use movie making which isn’t of very good quality. This allowed us to re arrange our video and add in transitions to make our video look more professional.
The internet was a key part to my project. I don’t most of my research on the internet, using websites such as MySpace, blogger, you tube, search engines and artist official website. If I didn’t have this internet access my research would have been poorly done as little information can be found anywhere else.
Our cameras were not HD however it still gave us good quality images. With good lighting and a clear background the image looked of good quality. The tripod enabled us to support the camera without the camera moving. However this wasn’t always available to us so sometimes we did have to use the camera ‘hand held’. Without this modern technology it would be very difficult to make a good quality video. It allowed us to be more creative and really get to grips with what the making of music videos is really like.
